Microcomputer Applications & Development Official Course Description: Students will be provided with hands-on experience in using current software packages in microcomputers. The applications studied will include a word-processing package equipped with a thesaurus and a spell checker, spreadsheet with graphic data display capabilities and a data base management system. Students will become familiar with the requirements, the capabilities and the limitations of the packages studied and they will learn to use the software to develop solutions to common business problems. |
